On August 5 and 6, Mumbai hosted the player auctions for the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 2022) season nine. The 12 teams competed to sign the 500 or so players who will be put up for auction.

There will be four categories created from the Domestic, Overseas, and New Young Players (NYPs): A, B, C, and D. Within each category, the players will be further classified into “All-Rounders,” “Defenders,” and “Raiders.”

The 12 franchise teams received a total of 30 players, with up to 4 Final Bid Match (FBM) cards being used on Day 1.

For Rs 10 lakh, Delhi Dabang purchased Md. Liton Ali. Victor Obiero remains unsold.

The Patna Pirates purchase Daniel Omondi Odhambo for his basic fee of Rs. 10 lakh as the second player to go.

The Titans make the next acquisition, Hamid Nader, by making an offer of Rs. 10.10 lakhs.
