The PKL 2022 playoff matches will feature the top six teams on the final point standings.
2022 PKL Playoffs Start Date And Venue
The Pro Kabaddi League 2022 (PKL) season 9 playoffs is all set to start on December 13. This year, the PKL playoffs will take place at the NSCI Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Mumbai. All of the five knockout matches will take place here in the same venue.
Teams And Format
Like previous season, the top six teams in the final point standings qualify for the playoff matches. While the top two teams will automatically advance to the semifinals, the four other teams will play another extra round.
Currently, the Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan have secured their semi-final berths after finishing on the top two. On the other hand, the UP Yoddas, Tamil Thalaivas, Dabang Delhi, and Bengaluru Bulls are set to play in Eliminators. The two winning teams out of the four will advance to the next rounds, i.e. the semi-finals.
