The new Arsenal home and away jersey for the 2023-24 season were leaked online, and the supporters are not pleased.

The 2023โ€“24 season’s Arsenal uniforms have been leaked online.

The rumoured shirts have not pleased Gunnerโ€™s supporters. On Wednesday, unconfirmed pictures of two shirts, home and away, were shared on Twitter. The rumoured home kit includes a red shirt with white sleeves and gold trim, as well as a scaly-looking pattern and the removal of the collar from the shirt’s current season.

The leaked-away jersey, meanwhile, has a quirky arrow-like pattern and is a light green colour with black trim. It is not too distinct from the yellow away kit from 2021โ€“22 or the current yellow home goalkeeper’s kit. However, the response from Arsenal supporters to the rumoured uniforms was not kind.

Fans are furious with the designs.

In response, one sceptic tweeted, “Please don’t let these be genuine.” One more said: “They cannot be brought in front of people by us. Embarrassing.” “I’m praying these remain unconfirmed,” pleaded a third. A fourth chuckled: “Imagine winning the league and playing in those the following year. Return the trophy and enter the trash.” Even still, there were several admirers who expressed their awe, with one gushing: “The gold is exquisite. To see those kits, please.”

Arsenal supporters will be hoping for gold Premier League champions insignia on the sleeves of the team’s uniforms for the upcoming season. In addition to having played one fewer game than Pep Guardiola and company, Mikel Arteta’s team presently leads Manchester City by two points in the league standings.

Arsenal is back on top!

In a highly interesting afternoon at Villa Park last weekend, the Gunners upset Unai Emery’s Aston Villa team 4-2 to claim victory. The next match for Mikel Arteta’s team is against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, where the gifted playmaker Emile Smith Rowe is getting closer to making his injury comeback.

The team from north London will also be aiming to have Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus back as soon as possible as they attempt to widen their current two-point lead over Manchester City.
