However, the World Cup’s surprise package put on another strong performance on the big stage and was unfortunate not to score the equaliser their effort undoubtedly deserved.
Mbappe will participate in his second final before turning 24. The PSG player, who was obviously thrilled, posted on Instagram to share his joy. “BACK-TO-BACK WORLD CUP FINAL,” he captioned a photo of himself hugging club teammate Achraf Hakimi that he uploaded. He quoted, “Don’t be sad, bro; you made history, and everyone is proud of what you accomplished.”
