The bout between two Heavyweight fighters Ante Delija vs Maurice Greene will be the main event for 2023 PFL 5.
Meanwhile, the co-main event will see the 2022 PFL lightweight tournament winner Larissa Pacheco face off against Amber Leibrock.
Ante Delija vs Maurice Greene
Ante Delija is a Croatian fighter who turned pro in 2011 and joined the PFL back in 2019. He currently has a fight record of 7-2 for the promotion. The “Walking Trouble” is currently the defending heavyweight champion, after beating Matheus Scheffel, Shelton Graves, and Renan Ferreira last year to win gold.
Meanwhile, his opponent, Maurice Greene, is a former kickboxer who turned pro in 2012. Greene was 4-4 with the UFC after starting out on The Ultimate Fighter, where he notably lost to former NFL star Greg Hardy. He joined the PFL in 2022, where he lost his debut fight for the promotion in June 2022. The 36-year-old American has however, managed to beat Marcelo Nunes via TKO earlier this year in April.
