Peyush Bansal was born in New Delhi, India, on April 26, 1985. From 2002 to 2006, he attended Don Bosco School in Delhi while studying electrical engineering at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
His postgraduate studies were done at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore (2008–2009). Together with Amith Chaudhary and Sumeet Kapahi, Peyush founded Lensakart in 2010. She later took over as CEO.
