Paulo Dybala latest injury update is now out
The 29-year-old AS Roma and Argentina attacker suffered an injury in the Italian club’s most recent game, and although it was first thought he would be sidelined for some time, recent rumours suggest otherwise.
AS Roma’s Serie A campaign hasn’t gotten off to the best of starts; La Lupa is currently sitting in an uncomfortably low 10th place in the standings with a 3-3-2 record. There have been rumours and claims that José Mourinho was on the verge of losing his job, but a 4-1 victory over Cagliari seemed to have put an end to such rumours.

Dybala got injured against Cagliari and had to be substituted
Roma supporters gasped as Argentine World Cup champion Paulo Dybala, one of their star players, went down hurt and had to be substituted in the 40th minute of their match against Cagliari.
The Laguna Larga, Cordoba, native has two goals in six league games this season and has played the whole 90 minutes in the previous three games. When Dybala was injured, it was anticipated that the forward would be sidelined for an extended period of time, but today’s reports are much more optimistic.
Roma feared that Dybala would miss several weeks due to the injury. The Argentine striker, however, underwent overnight medical testing at Villa Stuart, and examinations ruled out cruciate ligament rupture or an injury that would keep the Argentinean out of action for an extended period of time.
Update on Dybala’s injury
Gaston Edul, a reporter for TyC Sports, claims that Paulo Dybala only has one collateral ligament that is stretched. In roughly three weeks, the Argentine forward can resume his playing schedule.

In his second season with Roma, the Argentine forward scored 20 goals in 45 games despite rumours of a transfer to the Premier League. According to recent reports, Dybala might make a comeback for the away match against Inter which is scheduled on October 29.
Moreover, in order to move out of the midtable, Roma must defeat Monza next on October 22. The team will then try to continue their league comeback during the international break.
