Patrick Clark Jr. is an American professional wrestler born on 19 August 1995, Washington, D.C., United States and is currently 27-years-old. Clark stands at a height of 6 ft 2 in or 188 cm and weighs around 227 lb or 103 kg. Patrick Clark Jr. is best known for his time at WWE and was notably a former WWE North American Champion.
He is currently single and umarried.
Professional Wrestling Career
2014-2017
Clark began his professional wrestling career by making a debut on October 3, 2014 in the Maryland Championship Wrestling promotion. It was also the same promotion with whom he trained.
Clark later worked for CZW, and WXW before signing up with the WWE. Clark took part in the WWE Tough Enough show in 2015 following which he signed a deal with WWE. He quickly began his training after signing the new deal. The following year in 2016, Clark began working with NXT and frequently performed at various house shows and live events.
2017-2021
Clark experienced a big break in 2017 when he debuted as a new character called Velveteen Dream on NXT. Although Aleister Black defeated him at NXT TakeOver WarGames he quickly became a fan favorite. Later, at NXT TakeOver Philadelphia, Clark managed to defeat Kassius Ohno.
VelvetEEN Dream frequently fought to win the NXT and North American Championship in 2018 but failed to do so. Finally, in 2019, Clark won the World’s Collide tournament and won the chance to face the North American Champion Johnny Gargano, whom he ended up defeating.
However, after a span of 231 days of defending the championship title, Dream lost it to Roderick Strong on NXT. Following the loss, Clark took a five-month hiatus and made a returned in late 2020.
Dream lost to Adam Cole at TakeOver: In Your House and was soon written off the television. WWE soon released Velvet Dream from his contract in 2021.
