Timothy J. Keller, husband, father, grandfather, mentor, friend, pastor, and scholar died this morning at home. Dad waited until he was alone with Mom. She kissed him on the forehead and he breathed his last breath. We take comfort in some of his last words. ‘There is no downside for me leaving, not in the slightest.’ See you soon Dad.

Tim Keller was a well-known American pastor, theologian, and Christian apologist. He has been in the news because he passed away recently at the age of 72.
His full name is Timothy James Keller. He was born on September 23, 1950, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, U.S. His mother’s name is Louise A. Keller, and his father’s name is William B. Keller.
After completing his schooling, Tim Keller graduated from Bucknell University with a bachelor’s in arts. Later, he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Westminster Theological Seminary, where he received his D.Min. in 1981.
He was married, and his wife’s name is Kathy Kristy, in 1975. They are the parents of three children. He died on May 19, 2023, in New York City, New York, U.S. At the time of his death, he was 72 years old.

Tim Keller served as Redeemer City’s chairman and co-founder. This organization prepares pastors for service all around the world. He also served as the first pastor of New York City’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
