The Olympics is around the corner and the para events have also been confirmed but ahead of it will be the opening ceremony to celebrate the beginning of the tournament.
On August 28, 2024, this momentous occasion will take place in the heart of Paris at the confluence of the Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Elysees.
Thomas Jolly, the Ceremonies’ artistic director, will oversee this ground-breaking project, as reported by Olympics site.
Every Paralympic sport will have a unique setting for expression, with events held at well-known sites that are representative of France’s past.

Meanwhile, today on France 2, a French television channel, the identities of the French flag bearers for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris will be revealed.
On July 9 and 10, the French Paralympic and Sports Committee (CPSF) held a balloting process when competitors cast their votes to choose the person who would go ahead with the flag.
During the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games opening ceremony on August 28, a man and a woman will be chosen from these four names to fly the French flag.

Blind football will kick off the tournament on September 1.
