The International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach and the International Hockey Federation (FIH) President Tayyab Ikram introduced the hockey tournament calendar for Paris 2024 earlier today at a ceremony held at the Olympic House in Lausanne, according to the FIH.

The pool round matchups for all 24 countries in the event were disclosed by International Hockey Federation President Tayyab Ikram and IOC President Thomas Bach.
Men’s hockey was originally played during the Olympic Games in London in 1908, and it will be played at the Olympics for a record 25 times in Paris in 2024. Women’s hockey, on the other hand, will be played for the 12th time in a row during the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980.
Twelve men’s and twelve women’s national teams, including the reigning gold medal winners from the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, will fight for the highly sought-after Olympic medals.
When and where will the Paris 2024 Olympic hockey be held?
Paris 2024 Olympic hockey will be held from 27 July to 9 August. The ancient Yves-du-Manoir Stadium, which hosted the 1924 Olympic Games in Colombes, near Paris, will host the hockey competitions of the XXXIII Olympiad.
The competitions’ pool stages run through August 3rd, after which the elimination rounds begin on August 4th. Check out the full schedule below.
For the men’s, Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, France and South Africa were allocated Pool A, with Belgium, India, Australia, Argentina, New Zealand and Ireland placed in Pool B.
