The Palermo Ladies Open, also known as the Internazionali Femminili di Palermo, is a women’s tennis competition held in Palermo, Italy on outdoor clay courts at the Country Time Club. Since 1990, it has been a part of the WTA Tour after the first two editions were a member of the Satellite Circuit. From 1990 until 2008, the competition was classified as a WTA Tier IV or Tier V event, then was changed to an International Tournament in 2009.
What’s exciting and what players to watch for?
Numerous local favourites are competing in the Palermo Ladies Open this year, including Trevisan and past champion Sara Errani.
This year’s competition’s home challenge is being led by Martina Trevisan.
Yulia Putintseva, the second seed, and Irina-Camelia Begu are slated to face off, but they must be cautious of the French team of Oceane Dodin and Diane Parry.
Clara Burel and Ana Bogdan, the two seeds in the bottom half, are both dangerous opponents in the first round for Ana Bondar and Sara Sorribes Tormo.

WTA Palermo Ladies Open 2022 Women’s Singles Prize Money, Ranking Points And Live Streaming Details
The overall prize pool for this year’s competition is $251,750, with $239,477 in cash up for grabs. The winner receives a check for $33,200 as well as 280 ranking points.

The Palermo Ladies Open 2022 qualification matches are planned for July 16–17. Matches in the main draw will start on July 18 at 11 a.m. local time. Sunday, July 24, is set aside for the tournament’s championship match.
