Who is Mathira Mohammad?
Mathira, born into a Muslim family in Harare, Zimbabwe, hails from a diverse heritage, with a South African father and a Pakistani mother. Her upbringing took place in Zimbabwe before she and her family relocated to Pakistan due to political unrest in her homeland. Her sister, Rose Muhammad, is also an actress, sharing the creative path Mathira pursued.
Mathira expanded her repertoire in 2011 by hosting AAG TV’s show Baji Online. In 2013, she ventured into Bollywood with an item song, Lakk Ch Current, in the Indian Punjabi film Young Malang. Her versatility was further showcased in the Pakistani film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi, where she performed the item number Masti Mein Doobi Raat Hai.

In 2014, Mathira acted in a film directed by Vipin Sharma. The following year, she featured in the song Piya Re with Furqan and Imran, a tribute to Adnan Sami Khan’s classic Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein. From 2017 to 2019, Mathira played a supporting role in Geo Kahani’s drama series Naagin. In 2019, she starred opposite Danish Taimoor in the romance-thriller film Sirf Tum Hi To Ho, further solidifying her position in the industry.
Mathira tied the knot with Punjabi singer Farran J Mirza, popularly known as Flint J, in 2012. The union was blessed with a son, Aahil Rizvi, born in September 2014. However, their journey together came to an end as they parted ways in January 2018.
