The highly renowned American program Shark Tank has an Indian adaptation called Shark Tank India, which has proven popular and aroused curiosity among the majority of Indians. On the most recent episode of “Shark Tank India Season 2,” when four sharks competed to invest in the company, “Padcare,” history was made.

Peyush Bansal even handed the creator of Padcare a blank check, stating, “Black cheque le le bhar lio tu,” after the company’s efficient sanitary napkin disposal and recycling garnered so much acclaim from the sharks.

The Padcare pitch was so strong that Aman Gupta, the creator of BoAt, dubbed the company’s founder “PadMan of 2022,” even quoting a line from Abhishek Bachchan’s movie “Guru,” in which he says, “apne dhandhe ka mazboot khiladi hun.”

Peyush was the shark who left the biggest impression when he remarked, “1, 1.5 crores, 2 crores, 2.5 crores jo apko chhaiye le lo apni valuation par,” giving the founder a blank check.

Awarded sanitary napkin manufacturer PadCare promotes inclusivity, equality, and healthy public hygiene practices on a worldwide scale while making modern sanitation options safer and recyclable for women everywhere.

It was founded by Ajinkya Dhariya, a mechanical engineering student, who is currently the CEO of the company. He has also received many awards, including the FICCI-ISC Award 2020, Forbes 30 under 30, and NASSCOM’s Innovative Startup Award 2019.

It is the first smokeless sanitary pad in the world and boasts a cutting-edge recycling and waste disposal mechanism. In order to address the unmet demand for menstrual hygiene, the Infosys Foundation is supporting the startup Padcare under the name “Aarohan.”

Even though the founder had requested 50 lakhs for a 2% equity offer, Anupam Mittal handed him an exact identical deal. The founder was then given a deal by all four sharks for 1 crore for 4% equity.
