Some users are unsure about what MIT stands for on the Overwatch 2 scoreboard now that the beta version of the game is available on PC and consoles, know the meaning of the new stat

Regarding the release date of the entire game, Blizzard has revealed that the PvP component will go live as early access in October and be available to everyone for free to play.

Returning players have noticed changes to the scoreboard during the second beta, which is currently underway.

Mitigated damage is what MIT on the Overwatch 2 score and stands for. It is a “new statistic that incorporates the former Damage Blocked, and also keeps track of damage stopped by abilities like Ana’s Nano Boost or Orisa’s Fortify,” according to the OW2 beta patch notes.

This modification isn’t the last one, according to Blizzard, who also intends to “include tracking for damage mitigated via effects like Lucio’s Sound Barrier.”
The Overwatch 2 beta scoreboard also modified the Assist statistic in addition to MIT.

This now calculates a player’s earnings for what was once known as Defensive or Offensive Assists. The other adjustments are listed below:
