Overwatch 2 free-to-play release date has been revealed, as has the number of skins included in the OW2 Founders Pack
Yesterday’s Xbox and Bethesda Technologies event included OW2. Blizzard presented a new hero titled Junker Queen, who many people have immediately linked to Mad Maggie from Apex Legends.
Overwatch 2 Founders Pack Details, Skins, How To Get Free DLC
The hotly anticipated sequel has a lot to look forward to, and players of the very first edition will be honored with complimentary DLC.
GETTING THE OVERWATCH 2 FOUNDER’S PACK DLC:
If you already still own the original game, you will receive the Overwatch 2 Owner’s Pack DLC for free.
If you don’t already possess OW1, you must purchase it by June 23rd at 11:00 PT, 14:00 ET, and 19:00 BST. The sequel is set to release on October 4th, and you must log in there before December 12th, 2022, to unlock the package.
So according to battle.net, the first game’s Standard edition costs £16.99. Additionally, a Legendary edition is available for £34.99.
While the first game has a fee, OW2 PvP will be free to play when it comes on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Playstation X/S, PC, and Nintendo.
DLC ITEMS FOR OW2:
The Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack DLC offers two legendary costumes.
It also has a unique emblem and a surprise present that will be unveiled around June 4th. We don’t aware that further information regarding the package will be released, but there would be another OW2 unveiling ceremony on June 16th.
You can watch the unveiling event live on Twitch or YouTube at 10:00 PT, 13:00 ET, and 18:00 BST. Blizzard has stated that it will unveil additional beta testing as well as the 34th hero in the series.

The Founder’s Pack will feature the Founder’s symbol as well as the skins Captain Doomfist and Jester Sombra. There will also be a “surprise present” disclosed just before the Overwatch 2 official launch scheduled release of October 4. The contents of this “surprise present” is unknown, but Overwatch fans may not have to spend long to learn as much about the Founder’s Package and what will it include.
