IIT Madras has launched a new course named “Out Of The Box Thinking” and it will available from July for students all around the world, know its registration process
From July 2022, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will offer an ‘Out of the Box Thinking’ course. The program, which is a first of its kind, intends to reach 1 million students, working professionals, and scholars.

According to IIT Madras Director Professor Kamakoti, candidates will learn how to solve issues by using reasoning that is not immediately clear and incorporating concepts that may not be acquired by utilizing solely standard step-by-step logic.

Important Dates For Applying To The New Course
According to the institution, the registration process began on June 6 and will finish on June 24.
On July 1, 2022, the first batch will commence. It will be held twice a year that is in June and January.
Price Of The New Course
IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, a section 8 firm of IIT Madras, will provide the course for free.
Students will get grade certification through the same foundation, but only those who pay a ‘nominal fee’ will be eligible.?
Who Will Be In Charge Of Instructing The Course?
Sadagopan Rajesh, Founder-Director of the Aryabhatta Institute of Mathematical Sciences, will teach the course. He has taught mathematics to a diverse number of students at the high school and college levels over the past 3 decades.
He’s also run nurturing programs for elementary and secondary school kids, encouraging a love of problem-solving in them and preparing them for mathematics and other olympiads.
How To Apply For It?
The course will be delivered entirely online and will focus on teaching numerous ways to problem-solving. It will be available to everyone in India and abroad. To find out how to apply, follow the steps below:
- Step 1: First, go to pravartak.org.in, the official website of the IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation.
- Step 2: On the homepage, go to Registrations and then Register Now.
- Step 3: Fill out the needed information in the Google sheet and select a level depending on your preferences.
- Step 4: Before the start of the course, the login credentials will be emailed to the registered email address. After receiving them, you can log in and join the course.
