Houston Texans Tyrod Taylor spoke about the Astroworld Festival tragedy with resulted in the death of scores of people 

Named after Travis Scott’s best-selling album, Astroworld, the Astroworld Festival has been organised by the rapper since 2018. While it didn’t make an appearance in 2020 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was back come 2021, an event which ended up causing mayhem in the lives of manifold people.

The concert which also saw rapper Drake come on the stage for the final songs of Scotts’ performance on the first night saw chaos erupt as eight people were killed and over 300 injured at the venue. Amongst the departed were two children aged 14 and 16 while a 10 year old was severely injured.

The second night of the festival was cancelled as the extent of the casualties of the first night became evident. Lawsuits have been filed against both Travis Scott and Drake with the extent of the cases running into hundreds of millions as bereaved people ask for adequate compensation for the victims.

Scott has meanwhile gone onto say that he would be providing full refunds to the all the attendees which had taken place in Houston’s NRG Park last weekend and was eventually cancelled owing to a crowd surge which lead to the deaths.
