New Delhi, 6th October 2025- Ottobock has successfully powered the conclusion of the 12th World Para Athletics Championships, hosted for the first time in India. Across eight days of competition, over 1,000 athletes from more than 100+ countries participated in 186 medal events at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in the presence of an esteemed guest lineup including Dr Mansukh L. Mandaviya, Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Smt. Rekha Gupta, Shri Ashish Sood, and Sushri Kangana Ranaut, Brand Ambassador of the IndianOil New Delhi 2025 WPA Championships.
Ottobock’s dedicated team delivered close to 300 expert repairs and precision adjustments across prosthetic devices, orthotics, and wheelchairs, enabling athletes to compete with confidence and continuity. The on-site technical service centre was a lifeline for athletes striving for excellence, supporting each competitor with timely interventions and ongoing equipment care. Notably, athletes using Ottobock technology claimed 4 gold and 4 silver medals during the championships, demonstrating the impact of advanced mobility solutions in para sport.
