Osita Okolo brother-in-law of Victor Osimhen accuses him of kidnapping his sister Esther

The Napoli striker and his agent, according to Osita Okolo, who is married to Osimhen’s sister, owe him more than $400,000 in commission for assisting Victor Osimhen in moving from Lille to Napoli in 2020

Victor Osimhen, a 24-year-old Nigerian sensation, who is currently playing for Serie A champions Napoli in the Italian league, has carried on from where he left off last season, scoring six goals in eight games. But Osimhen has been in the news for a number of off-the-field events, such as Napoli’s bullying of him on social media, and most recently, his brother-in-law accused the 2023 Serie A Golden Boot winner of “abducting” his sister.

However, Osimhen’s other siblings have come forward to defend him against the accusations made by their sister, Esther Osimhen, and her husband.

With his 26 goals in 32 games last year, Osimhen defeated Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan to become the first African player to win the prized Capocannoniere award (Serie A Golden Boot). His prolific goal-scoring helped Napoli win the Scudetto (Serie A championship) in the 2022–23 season for the first time in 33 years.

What has been the story?

The Napoli striker and his agent, William D’Avila, allegedly owe Osita Okolo, who is married to Osimhen’s sister, more than $400,000 in commission for the 2020 transfer from Lille to Napoli. On Tuesday, October 10, Okolo posted a video to X stating that Osimhen had ordered the DSS to kidnap his own sister forcibly. “@OfficialDSSNG has gone rogue,” Okolo wrote. According to him, Victor Osimhen sent DSSNG to kidnap his sister forcibly (Okolo’s wife) because of a legal dispute between him and the player.

Okolo responded to Osimhen’s tweet four days later on Saturday, saying that Osimhen had ordered the DSS to “beat, molest, and strip his wife naked in the streets of Nigeria.” You are evil, @victorosimhen9,” he wrote. Simply “return my commission” was all I asked for. You tasked @OfficialDSSNG with beating, m*lesting, slapping, and stripping my wife in public in Nigeria. You’ll be charged for this.

Osimhen played for the Nigerian national football team in a friendly match against Saudi Arabia on Friday during this week’s international break. But after getting hurt in the 2-2 draw, the striker had to be replaced early in the second half.
