Studio Doga Kobo has announced plans to premiere a special program on May 31, 2023, which would conflict with the airing of the next eighth episode of the supernatural drama anime, which has been getting rave reviews as of late.

The highly anticipated Oshi no Ko episode 8 is now scheduled to release on June 7, 2023. Due to the impending premiere of a special program on May 31, Sentai Filmworks has announced that the next episode of Oshi no Ko will not air until June 7. Some viewers have assumed that this episode will offer a summary of the entire series up to this point, however, there has been no official confirmation of this.
Studio Doga Kobo’s current anime adaptation was releasing episodes weekly, however, this is the first postponement for the series. But it looks like things are getting back on track and will resume their regular schedule by the end of the month. There are many interesting and scary clichés in Oshi no Ko because it combines the mystery and murder thriller elements of the anime genre with some of the more traditional elements of the isekai subgenre.

In contrast to last week’s episode, which focused on the negative aspects of the internet, this week’s episode highlights the kindness of people as Akane’s co-stars gather around her to help her overcome her emotional and mental anguish. Despite the upbeat tone of Akane’s friends in Episode 7 of Oshi no Ko, there are also emotional moments as Akane defends her choices.
This is a very touching scene in which the protagonist breaks down again while trying to explain why she didn’t ask for help sooner. In these scenes, the animation fully commits to the character’s anguish, using every tool at its disposal to depict Akane’s state of mind in a way that will resonate with viewers and serve as a sobering reminder that, though this is fiction.
