Previously, in chapter 160 of Oshi no Ko, we witnessed Aqua Hoshino confronting Hikaru Kamiki about the lies he had told.
For the unversed, previously, Hikaru had manipulated Niino and Ryosuke into committing murders for him. After Hikaruโs planning to kill Ruby, Aqua resolved to follow through with his original revenge plan.

Chapter 160 of Oshi no Ko, titled โEye,โ showed Aqua facing his father, Hikaru, over his deceit. However, Hikaru claimed innocence, but later it was discovered that he was encouraging Niino and Ryosuke to commit crime on his behalf, while he kept his own hands clean.

After the revelation, Hikaru himself admitted pushing Niino to murder Ruby Hoshino. As the confrontation unfolded, Hilary realized that his son, Aqua had the same eyes as him, and Aqua is also capable of deceiving others.
Aqua agreed with the fact, however, he asserted that Ruby was different and that her eyes radiates love. In another scene, it was revealed that Aqua has decided to move with his original plan that is to kill Hikaru.

As aforesaid, Oshi no Ko will be going on a one-week hiatus, with the next chapter set to be out in the following week.
Oshi no Ko chapter 161 is set to be out on Thursday, September 26, 2024. However, the international fans will be able to get their hands on the forthcoming chapter a day before the domestic fans, which means the international fans will be able to read Chapter 161 on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
