A crucial development has occurred in the Sakshi murder case as the police have located the knife that 20-year-old Sahil used to kill the young girl in northwest Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy neighbourhood. The accused was imprisoned for an additional three days by the court on Thursday. The offending pistol was discovered on his account after the officer questioned him once more.
Sahil was cross-examined, the officer said, because he kept revising his assertions. The three friends of the victim, Bhawna, Ajay alias Jhabru, and Neetu, were each questioned about the incident separately. The policeman said they had tracked the suspect’s exit from the crime scene. On Wednesday, police reconstructed the crime scene.

The police have apparently so far found and seized the accused Sahil’s mobile as well as the knife that was used in the crime. The police claimed to have questioned more than ten of victim Sakshi’s friends in relation to the crime, including Ajay alias Jhabru, Neetu, and Praveen.
Eight further people were reportedly detected from the CCTV footage, and the police recorded their statements. The Delhi Police responded to case updates by stating that they were also now reviewing all of the CCTV footage on the road that connects Rithala to Bulandshahr via Anand Vihar.
According to Sahil, Sakshi, 16, was fatally stabbed more than 20 times and struck with a slab of cement on May 28. She had 34 wounds on her body in addition to a ruptured head. Sahil was arrested the following day in Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh. He is accused of tossing the knife into the Rithala bushes after the crime.
Sahil revealed to the police that Sakshi’s rejection of him in front of her friends and her failure to speak to him was the cause of his wrath when they questioned him, according to the police. The friendship between the two had turned toxic. The investigation that has been done thus far, in accordance with the police, has revealed that Sahil was the only one responsible for the crime; the accused also acknowledged committing it alone.
