Oleksandr Usyk Vs Tyson Fury, Know Who Would Win, What We Should Expect, Predicted Date
Because let’s be real, unusual, one-time-happening, fierce boxing fights can be extremely interesting and attractive for fans, but also incredibly appealing events for betting.
Tyson Fury, after a knock-out victory over Dillian Whyte back in April at Wembley Stadium, had announced that he would retire, but it seems that the WBC Heavyweight champion’s retirement did not bother Usyk much. In fact, Usyk all-so-intensively stressed that he wants a fight with Fury, that he left little room (not to say no room at all) for any other opponent. Holding the WBO, IBF and WBA titles, Usyk seemed to be very eager to meet with Fury, in a match that is very likely to be the biggest event in Heavyweight boxing history.
Let’s see some things that we should expect from such a huge event. The ‘when’, the ‘where’ and of course the ‘who’ of the fight.
When is it going to happen?
Responding to Usyk’s calls, Tyson Fury announced that he is ready to confront him in a fight that should happen this year. But, Oleksandr Usyk seems to have taken some backward steps, saying that he doesn’t see the fight happening until next year, when he will have enough time to recover from injuries as well as spend time with his family. It remains to be seen, now, whether this fight is going to happen and if it does, when and where it is going to happen!
Where will it take place?
The place is still up for grabs just as everything else in this fight! There are some venues which are seriously considered as they fulfill the criteria and serve the grand profile of such a huge event in boxing, but nothing is for sure. Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Las Vegas are the most probable locations, maintaining venues that can host the fight, but the UK, despite rumours, is not yet ruled out as it has the Wembley Stadium, which hosted Fury’s last fight.
Who is more likely to win?
First, be sure that there is going to be a really intense fight, between two champions, two world-class professional boxers with unique styles, power and technical skills. Both deserve to win and they have pretty much equal chances of winning. Fury has the power, the height and the reach, while Usyk is more technical and more flexible and so each of the two can pave their way towards victory.
