Kevin Durant and Cam Thomas talked smack to each other on Instagram after the Nets blowout win
Kevin Durant has been a real force to be reckoned with this year. Although its still way too early to determine who will win the coveted MVP award this season, Durant has emerged as an early outright favourite along with GSW’s Steph Curry.
Ever since he’s come back from his Achilles tear, Durant has been in the form of his life. KD has gone onto accrue 20 or more points in all of the 12 games the Nets have played this term, numbers which allude towards the fulcrum he’s become in the team’s attacking modus operandi.

He was electric during Brooklyn Nets’ demolition of Orlando Magic as well with the Nets going onto record a 33 point win on the day. The Nets also saw rookie Cam Thomas from the G-League get a chance to partake in the game with him also going onto earn his first ever NBA bucket in the fourth quarter.

However, despite his impressive appearance, Durant was quick to remind Cam Thomas that he had a long way to go before he could reach his level. The two exchanged playful words on Instagram with Thomas going onto tell Durant to sit his old ass down.
Nets’ 123-90 win against Magic saw Durant score 30 points, shooting 11-12 from the field in 29 minutes. Despite massively shuffling around with their unit in the fourth quarter, Nets allowed Magic to score a scanty 15 points in it.
“That’s really what you want to do — finish quarters, finish halves off the right way. We got to lead and we got some momentum, we got to take advantage. I think we did that,” Durant said after the affair.
