‘‘We are certainly disappointed for Chet, especially in light of his excitement about speaking with his teammates this season. We understand that Chet has a long career ahead of him in our organization and in the Oklahoma City community. One of the most impressive things about Chet’s selection process was his determination and concentration. We expect him to be equally tenacious throughout this time as we work together and support him through his rehabilitation.’’

The debut of the 20-year-old seems too distant for him as the recovery time can take up to 11 months.
