The OKC thunder managed to cap off an incredible season by securing the 2025 NBA Championship in dramatic fashion over the Indiana Pacers. The team came close to winning the same in 2012, but fell short against the Miami Heat. This year’s win marks the second NBA title in team history, ever since their first move to Oklahoma City from Seattle.

The Thunder’s championship parade is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, beginning at 10:30 a.m. CT. A private ceremony featuring speeches from players and team officials will take place beforehand at 9 a.m. inside the Paycom Center. That segment is closed to the public but will be broadcast and streamed live. No tickets are needed to attend the parade.

This year’s Championship parade will begin at NW 10th Street and N. Harvey Avenue, following which it will move south on Harvey Avenue. The parade will then head west on NW 5th Street, then head south on N. Walker Avenue, before it continues east on Oklahoma City Boulevard. The parade will finally proceed south on S. Robinson Avenue and finally wrap up at SW 6th Street.

According to AccuWeather, the weather forecast for Tuesday, June 24 shows mostly sunny and very warm, with a maximum of 94°F and just a 4% chance of rain. Meanwhile, the rest of the week will show highs of low-to-mid 90s, with increasing chances of thunderstorms starting from Thursday.
