Over the past week, vendors from all over the nation have been hard at work erecting their booths at the show grounds. Many sellers were still setting up their tables for the show on 3 January, 2025, Thursday, even though the delay gave some more time to get ready.
In 1938, a group of graduates from Osmania University founded Numaish to showcase regional goods. There were barely 100 stalls set up at the Public Grounds at the time. Following that, the expo is held annually. The exhibition site was eventually moved to its present location.
Before being renamed “Numaish” in 2009, it was known as the All India Industrial Exhibition. The term “Numaish” in Urdu means “display” or “exhibition.”
