Prediction
No. 5 ranked Stefanos Tsitsipas and No. 1 ranked Novak Djokovic will lock horns tomorrow at the final of the Italian Open.
This tennis season, Greece’s Tsitsipas has made several significant progress. He advanced to the semifinals of the Madrid Open before falling to eventual runner-up Alexander Zverev. Carlos Alcaraz beat him in the quarterfinals of the Barcelona Open.
At the Monte Carlo Masters, the 23-year-old defeated Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. Several events, including one major at the Australian Open, saw the reek reach the semifinals.
Djokovic, on the other hand, has been eliminated twice this season in the early stages of the limited tournaments he participated in. Following vaccination mandates, his participation was severely restricted. The Serbian then appeared to regain his form at home, reaching the final before falling to Russia’s Andrey Rublev. He has now reached his second final of the year.
Djokovic is recovering his excellent form ahead of the Roland Garros competition and appears to be improving match by match. Tsitsipas will find it difficult to contend with Serbian’s powerful serves.
