As a result, the athlete may be available to participate in the 2023–24 season and will be permitted to play for a second straight season while out on bail. Moreover, the player’s club has not once suspended him and has let him keep playing in several competitions throughout the last season.

On Friday, August 11, the Premier League resumes play.

The Met previously stated that on July 4, police received a complaint of a rape allegation involving a lady in her 20s. The alleged rape reportedly took place in June 2022.  On July 4, a 29-year-old guy was detained after being nabbed at a Barnet house on rape suspicion.

While in detention, he was further detained on suspicion of two other rapes that were allegedly perpetrated against different women in their 20s in April and June of 2021. The individual was questioned in February 2023 regarding a sexual offence that was allegedly committed in February 2022 while under duress. Police received a report about this in July 2022 and it refers to a third victim.

Since the applicable laws were not yet in place when the claimed offence in June 2021 happened, no further action will be taken in regard to that incident. However, the investigation into the other violations is still ongoing. The complainant has been informed of this, and cops are still standing by them.
