2023 Nordic Darts Masters schedule, venue, draw, format, & playing line-up

Michael Smith, the current world champion, will face Lithuania’s Darius Labanauskas in the opening match of his quest to win a third straight tournament after winning the Bahrain Darts Masters. As he pursues a record-extending 14th World Series of Darts championship in Copenhagen, 2021 champion Michael van Gerwen will begin his campaign against Sweden’s Andreas Harrysson. Van Gerwen and Peter Wright might square off in the quarterfinals, if Wright manages to overcome Swedish superstar Dennis Nilsson and MVG wins his own tie.

Meanwhile, Gerwyn Price, who finished as the runner-up in the Bahrain Darts Masters, will face local qualifier Benjamin Drue Reus in an effort to keep up his outstanding World Series success. Meanwhile, third-seed Rob Cross will compete against home favorite Vladimir Andersen on Friday, and Jonny Clayton will square off against Sweden’s World Cup captain Daniel Larsson. World No. 5 Luke Humphries will face Marko Kantele of Finland in the last first-round match, with the victor going on to play Smith or Labanauskas in the quarterfinal.

After the opening round on Friday, the competition wraps up over two sessions on Saturday, with the quarterfinal action taking place in the afternoon and the semifinal & final taking place in a jam-packed evening session. For this event, tickets can be purchased by fans from here.

According to PDC announcements, the prize pool for the 2023 Nordic Darts Masters will be £60,000. The winner of this tournament will receive £20,000, while the runner-up will receive £10,000 in prize money. It is assured that the minimum prize money for each contender will be set at £1,250.
