For Cristiano Ronaldo, the last year has been one of his worst in terms of trophies.

Although he’s been at his titillating best, Ronaldo has failed to taste consummate success at either the club or international level. After a dismal outing with Juventus in Italy, Ronaldo failed to overhaul things for himself as he endured a dreary soiree with Portugal at Euro 2020.

And with him failing to even make the playing 11 at times under Andrea Pirlo’s tutelage in the 2020-21 edition of Serie A, Ronaldo was said to be seriously considering a switch away from the Italian outfit. With his colossal wages draining the club dry as well, Juventus were said to be pondering letting go off Ronaldo as well.

Cristiano Ronaldo Will Not Be Leaving Juventus

However, club director, Pavel Nedved has come out with a statement which should put to bed rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Juventus. Speaking about the Portuguese player, Pavel said that Ronaldo who was meanwhile on holiday had shown absolutely no indication of wanting an exit.

“Cristiano is on holiday. We have no signal from his entourage that he wants to leave. We’re waiting for him and he will return around July 25 as scheduled,” Nedved said.

Ronaldo who scored on 29 occasions in the Serie A last term has another year to go on his contract in Turin. While it remains to be seen if he extends his deal at the club, the player looks set to stay put for another year.

The news is bound to have come across a music to the club’s supporters. The 2021-22 season will be a crucial point in the side’s sortie with the team striving to reclaim its down after relinquishing it to Inter Milan last campaign.

Maximilian Allegri has been reinstated at the club to become Ronaldo’s third manager in as many seasons after Maurizio Sarri and Andrea Pirlo.
