Afghanistan has always been a country that never had a single week without wars, attacks, and bloodshed. As the Taliban has captured almost every part of Afghanistan, they recently announced that the Afghan women will no longer be able to participate in any sports as ‘They expose their bodies’.

Simply seven days prior, the Taliban demanded that female professors will teach female students. In uncommon cases, elderly men could fill in. And every young lady who is going to private Afghan colleges should wear an abaya robe (full-length clothes) and niqab.
Every one of the classes will be separated by gender, if not partition with coverings. Deals of Burqas have gone up, ten times. The cost has risen drastically too. Music, entertainment, and Western media are banned.
Since sports have been prohibited as well, Afghan women who had revealed their looks to take in the quality of opportunity, have started to choke with the dread of the future. The Taliban declared the arrangement of another Afghanistan government headed by Mullah Hassan Akhund. This will be an “acting” government and not a super durable one.
Australia Vs Afghanistan Test Match Update
Cricket Australia announced today that they can cancel the men’s test match after hearing about the Taliban’s ban on women sports players. The Test match between Australia and Afghanistan was set to be played in Hobart.
The following is an official statement by Cricket Australia that was announced on Twitter
” Driving the growth of women’s cricket globally is incredibly important to Cricket Australia. Our vision for cricket is that it is a sport for all and we support the game unequivocally for women at every level.”
If recent media reports that women’s cricket will not be supported in Afghanistan are substantiated, Cricket Australia would have no alternative but to not host Afghanistan for the proposed Test Match due to be played in Hobart.
Meanwhile, Rashid Khan has stepped down as the captain of the Afghanistan cricket team for the T20 World Cup with him saying he had no say in his selection by the ACB. Mohammad Nabi has been named as his replacement by the country’s cricket board.
