In his note, Gautam wrote “Guilty for making me mentally suffer: Ms. Sneha Singh, Mr. Ranvir Singh, Deepak Mishra, Aditya Gupta.”
Ansh Gautam posted a 10-minute video on which he claimed that Sneha Singh had been making baseless complaints and threatening to hold him accountable for violating the Prevention of S*xual Harassment (POSH) Act. According to Gautam, Singh attempted suicide as a result of the false charges.
Gautam recorded his decision in a note he made outlining the circumstances. He claims Singh attempted to erase files from his computer and purposely caused disturbances at CDOT. Singh purportedly intimidated Gautam with unfounded allegations after he reported her to their team lead.
When Singh accused Gautam of stealing her bag, a charge he refutes, the atmosphere became more heated. Gautam claims that Singh’s father threatened to file a case against him while posing as a police officer.
Ansh Gautam’s demands
Top CDOT officials must resign immediately, according to Gautam, because they did not adequately handle the matter in a transparent manner. In addition, he exhorts the people to raise awareness of his cause and to take action via social boycotting the implicated parties, passive resistance, and whistleblowing.
Social media users are furious over the incident and are demanding a thorough inquiry. There have been questions raised concerning possible fraudulent allegations, employee safety and wellbeing, and improper treatment of these incidents.
Even though Gautam is in the hospital, this episode shows how urgently strong procedures are needed to deal with harassment at work and guarantee that everyone has a fair trial.
