Next, on Saturday night in South Florida, the Oilers will play the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final. These two teams have performed admirably throughout the playoffs.

The Panthers defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (4-1) in their opening series then thrashing the Boston Bruins (4-2) and the New York Rangers (4-2) to get to the championship game.

The Oilers, on the other hand, advanced to the finals after eliminating the Los Angeles Kings (4-1), the Vancouver Canucks (4-3), and the Dallas Stars (4-2).

The Panthers are going for their first Stanley Cup, but the Oilers are trying to win their first in Canada since the Montréal Canadiens did so in 1993.
