The 2023 Pro Bowl Games

The 2023 Pro Bowl Games is an event hosted in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and the Las Vegas Raiders. It will feature a week of competitions between the AFC and NFC. Enthusiastic fans can now buy tickets to go see the event in person on Sunday, February 5 at the Allegiant Stadium.

Sunday’s events will also be televised from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. ET on ESPN & ABC.

Ticketholder benefits

Fans who are ticketholders to The Pro Bowl Games on Sunday, Feb. 5, will get to witness all the following:

  • Three (3) AFC vs. NFC Flag football games
  • Pro Bowl Skills
  1. Gridiron Gauntlet: A full-field relay race between six (6) AFC players and six (6) NFC players
  2. Move the Chains: An offensive and defensive lineman strength and speed competition
  3. Best Catch Finals: Two (2) fan-selected winners from Thursday’s Skills competition will compete for the title of ‘Best Catch’
  • Major musical performance
  • Postgame trophy and MVP celebrations
  • On-site fan activations including – celebrity DJ, live interviews with players, giveaways, player photo opportunities, and interactive games and contests.
  • Fans can also win exclusive viewing experiences on the field and tickets to Super Bowl LVII via the NFL OnePass app

New features and events

The 2023 Pro Bowl Games will feature a Flag football game plus Pro Bowl Skills. Peter O’Reilly, executive vice president of club business and league events shared about the new feature, stating:

This season, we are excited to offer fans an unparalleled experience with the new elements and format of The Pro Bowl Games.

Flag football game

The AFC vs. NFC Flag football games will take place at the Allegiant Stadium, with a 7-on-7 format. Sunday’s Pro Bowl Games will feature three AFC vs. NFC Flag games with the following rules:

  • Twenty-minute games with two halves
  • A 50-yard field with 10-yard end zones
  • Scoring plays are worth the traditional six (6) points with a 1-point conversion from the 5-yard line

The Flag football will feature throughout the week, and also include the Play Football Opening Night and NFL FLAG Championships. The event will also feature the top girls’ and boys’ youth Flag teams from all over the country and worldwide.

Scores from the first two Flag football games will be added to each team’s score. The third and final Flag game on the other hand will determine the conference winner.

Pro Bowl Skills

Besides the above events, the Pro Bowl Skills Show will also take place live on Thursday, February 2. ESPN will broadcast the event live from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. ET.

The Pro Bowl Skills are set continue as an annual feature in the AFC vs. NFC competition. This is because it helps the NFL’s top players to showcase their football and non-football skills in unique competitions.

This year, The Pro Bowl Games are set to include both new as well as fan-favorite Pro Bowl Skills. All the skill games will have cumulative scoring leading up to the Flag football games scheduled on Sunday.

Pro Bowl Games to retain fan-favorite moments and events

While the Pro Bowl Games will feature many new elements, it will also maintain some of the old fan-favorite moments and events. Old elements like fan voting, which helps determine the NFC and AFC team rosters are still present. In fact, fans can go to www.nfl.com/pro-bowl-games/vote to vote right now or vote on Twitter using the hashtag #ProBowlVote.

The organizers have also retained the East-West Shrine Bowl where senior collegiate pro prospects can showcase and develop their talents. They can also engage in life-changing experiences with the patients and families residing in the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
