Prior to the new NFL season, the Hall of Fame Game takes place every year on the weekend of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s induction ceremonies. It is an exhibition game, where two NFL teams chosen by the league play against one another.

The 2023 Hall of Fame Game between the Jets and the Browns will kick off on Thursday, August 3 at 8PM ET. It will take place at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The NFL usually picks the teams based on the Hall of Fame inductees that year.
The league looks at the more notable inductees and choose they teams that are strongly associated with those inductees.
