Roger Goodell 2023 net worth
According to various sources, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has a staggering estimated net worth of around $200 million in 2023.
Roger Goodell new contract extension
Much to the distaste of many NFL fans Roger Goodell has served as the NFL commissioner eevr since 2006. His current deal is about to end very soon in 2024 and he has entered the final stages of the contract. Although the NFL has not confirmed any details about it, there are rumours of a possible contract extension.
The 64-year-old NFL executive joined 17 years ago to replace the then NFL commissioner Paul Tagliablue. Ever since taking up the role, Goodell has signed contract extensions in 2009, 2012, and 2017. His last contract extension was expected to be the last ever contract extension he would sign. But now it seems that things are uncertain.
Salary and earnings as NFL commissioner
Roger Goodell earns a salary of approximately $64 million. Back when he first took the role of commissioner in 2007, his earnings were around $6 million. Ever since then, Roger has never earned less than eight figures. Goodell earned $12 million in 2008 and 2011, and then a further $10 million in 2009 and 2010.
In fact, if we add everything that Goodell has earned from his salary alone, then his total earnings come to around $556.7 million. This is unsurprisingly much more than what any player in NFL history has ever made.
