NFL Bye Wek Schedule 2022, Dates And All Teams Bye Weeks List

The new NFL schedule for 2022 includes a bye week for every club

But when will each team get their week off from action? Is it preferable to have it early in the season or late in the season? The NFL calendar was thrown somewhat off-kilter with the inclusion of a 17th regular-season game to the 2021 regular-season schedule.

NFL Bye Wek Schedule 2022, Dates And All Teams Bye Weeks Full List

The traditional 16-game schedule saw each club playing eight games at home and eight on the road, but adding an extra matchup complicated matters. In the regular season, teams are matched against opponents from the opposing Conference.

For example, the NFL matched the AFC West victors against the NFC West for the 2021 17th game, which meant the Buffalo Bills faced the Washington Football Team, now known as the Commanders. With 17 games now on the schedule, there was anticipation that the NFL would add a second bye week, but that has not happened, at least not this season, according to the new schedule.

THE RAMS will begin their new NFL SEASON against THE BILLS:

During the regular season, each NFL club is given only one bye week. Since 1990, when the NFL revived the concept, the regular season has been stretched out to 17 weeks. It will now be spread out over 18 weeks until the Playoffs begin in January, as teams vie for a spot in the Super Bowl.

Teams will be seeking to play their way into shape for the first few weeks, adjusting new players into the system or getting new head coaches up to speed. A bye week early in the 2022 NFL season might slow things down.

However, if a team receives it later in the season, it may aid in the recovery of injuries, and a weekend with their feet up might not be such a terrible idea.
