An Australian Football manager, Ralph Hasenhüttl, is making headlines after he was reportedly fired from his job after spending almost 4 years with Southampton, know the odds of the next new manager in 2022
As per a report by the Guardian, the English Premier League football club is on the hunt for a new boss after they relieved Ralph from his duties.

Jones has been listed by bookmakers Sky Bet as the favourite for the role, priced at 2/5 while former Burnley boss Sean Dyche is second favourite at 5/1, followed by River Plate’s Marcelo Gallardo at 8/1.
Other names include former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino (14/1), Steven Gerrard (20/1) and Jesse Marsch (33/1)
The news of Ralph’s being fired came after their Sunday’s defeat of 4-1 to Newcastle United.
For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, the 55-year-old Austrian native has been incharge of the team for almost 4 years. He took charge of the team in 2018.
According to a report by the aforementioned outlet, Nathan Jones is believed to be Ralph’s successor.
However, Southampton are also believed to have been discussing the position with Marcelo Gallardo but their main focus is towards Jones in the past couple of days.
Let us remind you, Hasenhüttl is leaving the club with the same league position i.e, 18th as when he took over from Mark Hughes.
However, under his charge, the club has finished 16th, 11th and 15th twice and even reached the Semi-finals of the 2021 FA Cup.
The club released a statement while discharging the manager from his duties.
Their statement reads, “Hasenhüttl, who was appointed in December 2018, departs having made a significant contribution to the club, overseeing some memorable results and also playing a key role in the development of our club infrastructure, identity and playing squad.”
The statement further reads, “However, we now believe it is an appropriate time to make a change.”
