TAB New Zealand Darts Masters 2022 Tournament Format
The first round of matches all followed the best of 11 legs format. In the second round, all games will be played in a best-of-15 format. Best of 15 legs format will also be used for the Final.

Kayden Milne, 22, overcame deficits of 2-0 and 5-3 to win in Friday’s opening round of the World Series of Darts competition at the Globox Arena, becoming the lone representative of Oceania to advance to the quarterfinals.
Following a gritty victory over veteran New Zealander Warren Parry in the US Darts Masters quarterfinals on Saturday, third seed Michael Smith will be the next opponent for Milne. Despite missing 21 darts at double, Smith resumed his quest to win his first World Series championship in Australia with a 6-3 victory.
On his return to New Zealand, Michael van Gerwen put on a strong performance, opening the defense of his NZ Darts Masters crown with a 6-3 victory over Bernie Smith. Van Gerwen defeated Mal Cuming by a score of 6-1 to start his quest for back-to-back World Series victories. He now faces Jonny Clayton in a heavyweight matchup in the round of eight.
However, Gerwyn Price gave the best performance of the first night in Hamilton, defeating DPNZ No. 1 Ben Robb with an average of 104.95. After the left-hander defeated Gordon Mathers in a nail-biting last-leg shootout, Price will now face fourth seed James Wade in a replay of last weekend’s NSW Darts Masters semifinals.

Prize Money Pool Distribution Of TAB New Zealand Darts Masters 2022
The prize money for the 2022 TAB New Zealand Darts Masters will be £20,000, which is double the amount awarded to the runner-up. A £60,000 net prize pool is also available for the competition.
