The field for the 2022 New South Wales Darts Masters has been announced as the best players in the sport prepare to compete in the World Series of Darts tournament this week at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong. In the 16-player field, eight of the best darts players in the world will be joined by eight of the best players from the Oceanic region.

New South Wales Darts Masters 2022 Tournament Format
Best of the 11 legs will be used in every match during the first round. Starting with the second round of New South Wales Darts Masters, all matches will be played in a best-of-15 format. The best of 15 legs format will also be used for the Final.
2022 New South Wales Darts Masters Schedule, Venue, Draw, and Playing Line-up
The Professional Darts Corporation’s maiden staging of the PalmerBet New South Wales Darts Masters, which will also be the fifth event of the 2022 World Series of Darts, is planned for August 2022. The competition will take place at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong, Australia on August 19–20, 2022, and will feature 16 players, including eight PDC players and eight regional qualifiers.
In honor of Kyle Anderson, who passed away in 2021, the winner and runner-up of this competition will each receive boomerang-shaped trophies. The Kyle Anderson Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the best Oceanic player across the three Oceanic World Series events namely Queensland, New South Wales, and New Zealand Darts Masters.
A £20,000 cheque will be awarded to the World Series competition winner. The second place finisher will get a cash prize of £10,000. Nevertheless, everyone who enters the competition will get at least £1250. Tickets can be purchased by the fans from here.
2022 New South Wales Darts Masters Playing Line-up
Fallon Sherrock, who was unable to compete in the 2020 World Series of Darts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was one of the six players the PDC named as their representatives at the competition on April 11, 2022. Jonny Clayton and Joe Cullen were declared the last two PDC representatives on May 30, 2022. On July 27, it was revealed that Peter Wright had withdrew from the three Oceania tournaments due to health issues. As a result, Dimitri Van den Bergh, the current World Series Order of Merit leader, took Wright’s place.

Prize Money Pool Distribution of New South Wales Darts Masters 2022
New South Wales Darts Masters 2022 champion will get £20,000, which is twice as much as the second-place finisher. The competition also has a net prize fund of £60,000 and each participant will receive a guaranteed purse of £1,250.

The PDC’s international television partners as well as Fox Sports in Australia will both offer live coverage. There is a £10 PDCTV Summer Pass option that includes all three World Series of Darts events in August.
