The medical drama, created by David Schulner, is soon going to vanish from our screens as it is coming to an end.
New Amsterdam is a medical genre based on a book by Eric Manheimer, titled ‘Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital.’
New Amsterdam Season 5 Episode 11,12, 13 Release Date And Will There Be A Season 6
The show first premiered back in 2018 and since then it managed to create a loyal fan base with its fantastic storyline. The show has grown with each passing season.
However, the end of the show is approaching soon as the network has confirmed the last episode’s scheduled date.
New Amsterdam Last Episode Schedule Date
The final episode, i.e., ep 13 of the Season 5 of David Schulner’s created show is set to be on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023.
To conclude the series, the makers are giving a double dose to the fans as they are providing a penultimate episode on the very same day as the last episode of the show.
Fans of the New Amsterdam will be treated to a 2-hour event. Let us remind you, the series was held on a break after its episode 10 aired, however, it will resume with its episode 11 on Tuesday, January 3rd.

Will There Be Season 6?
Unfortunately, there won’t be any sequel season for the New Amsterdam as it was previously announced the series will officially conclude with its Season 5.
The official news was announced back in March 2022, a couple months before Season 4 was wrapped up.
In an earlier interview, the President of Universal Television, Erin Underhill stated while bidding farewell to the series that, “When I first read the pilot script for New Amsterdam, I knew we had a winner.”
She further added, “We’re so proud of this series and are indebted to everyone involved in bringing New Amsterdam to life. Bravo!”
