Prediction
The final is set at the Rolex Paris Masters doubles category.
Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski advanced to the Rolex Paris Masters finals on Saturday by defeating Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara, who have already qualified for the season finals, and are now focused on putting on a strong showing in Turin, with a score of 6-1, 6-7(4), 10-6. The Dutch-British duo will attempt to capture their seventh title of the year on Sunday to solidify its place as the year’s top team in the Pepperstone ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings. Koolhof ensured his first-ever rise to No. 1 in the individual Pepperstone ATP Doubles Rankings on Monday when the pair won their quarterfinal the day before.
Koolhof and Skupski will compete against the pair of Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek in the ATP Masters 1000 final on Sunday. They advanced after getting off Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies of Germany in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 6-4. Koolhof and Skupski, who prevailed in the previous two finals, will attempt to capture a third championship this season (Madrid, Montreal). Dodig and Krajicek’s victory also guaranteed them the final slot in the Nitto ATP Finals doubles.
The 2022 US Open finalists Koolhof and Skupski, who lost the Grand Slam title against Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury this year, will be entering the match as favourites and are expected to prevail in the championship fixture.
