The NBA playoff teams this year will split a $33.7 million pool, which will be divided based on how each club performs. 

On the basis of a 15-player squad, the awards range from $452,708 per team (about $30,000 per player) to a possible $12.1 million ($804,000 per player) for the NBA winners, as per a report in Marca.

The NBA awards playoff pools based on regular season standings as well, giving the team with the best record an additional reward. Teams get to play in more advanced rounds and get paid extra for it.
