The players of the NBA will be dressed by Jordan Brand for the seventh year running for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis. The iconic red and blue uniforms with cream lettering are given a tonal twist in these nostalgic, heritage-inspired designs, which were inspired by the notion that basketball originated in Indiana.
The Pacers’ uniforms from the late 1990s and early 2000s served as the model for the pinstripes. On the front of the jersey, behind the word “All-Star,” which incorporates racing stripes as a tribute to the host city, is a large image of the 2024 NBA All-Star.
The five stars on either side of the jersey stand for the five players who are currently on the court for each squad. Additionally, the logo appears on the side of the short with a big circle surrounding it, paying tribute to Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis, which encircles the patriotic Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the heart of “Circle City.”
Each side of the short features six stars rotating the NBA All-Star emblem, signifying the 12 All-Stars on each team. The jersey features the anthem graphic above the black jock tag, with the words “73rd Annual” highlighted. The graphical roots of the basketball served as the inspiration for the “ASG” ligature mark on the belt buckle.
