Friday is when the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game takes place in the same city as the NBA All-Star Game. It should be noted that the game is not hosted in the same arena as the other All-Star Saturday events. It takes place on the practice court for the NBA Jam Session instead.
In the 2024 edition, sports media icons Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith will coach Team Shannon and Team Stephen A., respectively. Meanwhile, a variety of NFL players, WNBA players, artists, actors, content creators, and more are among the participants in the celebrity game.
When and where is the NBA All-Star 2024 Celebrity Game?
The NBA All-Star 2024 Celebrity Game will be held on February 16, 2024, Friday at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.
This year’s game will have a brand-new, cutting-edge LED court that will have countless animation options during play, including a dynamic three-point line, court visuals, and much more, a report in NBA outlet suggest.
NBA All-Star 2024 Celebrity Game participants, coaches, lineup
Team Shannon, captained by sports media icons Shannon Sharpe, Peyton Manning, and Grammy Award-winning musician 50 Cent, will play Team Stephen A., led by Stephen A. Smith, Lil Wayne, and two-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, in this year’s celebrity game.
Prominent figures include NFL players Micah Parsons and CJ Stroud, IndyCar driver Conor Daly, singer, actress, and talk show personality Jennifer Hudson, and former NBA player and Indiana Pacer Metta World Peace (previously known as Ron Artest).
