NBA 2K23’s official Twitter account has confirmed the release date and time countdown for NBA 2K23 Season 2, along with a bunch of rewards and the upcoming Halloween event details.
Previously, game developers shared the 1.008 patch notes for NBA 2K23 prior to the launch of the upcoming season.
The patch list consisted of general fixes and gameplay improvements for MyTeam, MyCareer, and the Michael Jordan Challenge.

NBA 2K23 Season 2 Release Date And Time
The confirmed release date and time countdown for NBA 2K23 is 08:00 PT, 11:00 ET, and 16:00 BST on October 21st.
The game’s official Twitter account confirmed the above date. Whereas 2K staff member Evan confirmed the start time on the community’s Discord.
The upcoming chapter will feature an exciting wild-west aesthetic. Moreover, with Halloween coming up right around the corner, players will also be able to unlock some spooky cosmetics.
NBA 2K23 Season 2 Rewards
NBA 2K23 Season 2 rewards include the Jabbawockeez outfit at lvl 40 for MyCareer, and Pink Diamond Devin Booker at lvl 40 for MyTeam.
Other items for MyCareer include Wild West courts and artwork, new jumpshot meters, and a Skeleton outfit.
More apparel items will also be added with hoodies, t-shirts, and pants from J. Cole’s Dreamville label brand appearing in SWAG’s.

Halloween Event
Besides the new rewards, the NBA 2K23 Season 2 courtside report also mentioned the return of 24-hours Halloween event for MyCareer, The Long Night.

During the month of October, we’re hosting some spooktacular events to get you in the Halloween spirit. The Long Night returns, casting an evening shadow over The City for 24 hours.
