The NBA Finals came to a close on Thursday, with the Golden State Warriors defeating the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. Stephen Curry, the Finals MVP (34 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds), put on a display as he led the Warriors to a 103-90 triumph. The series ended 4-2 in favour of the Warriors.

Following the team’s championship-clinching 103-90 win against the Boston Celtics in Game 6, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry was voted the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player by a unanimous vote.
The eight-time All-Star had earned two league MVPs and four titles, but the Finals MVP award was one of the few significant honours he had yet to receive.
