Major accomplishments

Under his leadership, the former Luton Town boss helped the club to finish second in EFL League Two in 2017โ€“18. On top of that he received EFL Championship Manager of the Season in 2021โ€“2022. He even won EFL League One Manager of the Month in December 2018.

Moreover, during his three months tenure as Southampton, he took the Saints to the League Cup semifinals and the fifth round of the FA Cup. However, they failed to leave the league’s relegation zone as they have only one Premier League game under Jones. As a result, the saints are at the bottom of the standings, which ultimately resulted in the sacking of Jones.
